@ai6yr Nice view and it was breezy, so not too hot. Kind of wish we had a deck up there. It is a long way down.
The older I get, the more I think I should have some sort of safety harness, or hire someone. Someone through the MTB team was advertising solar panel cleaning, but when I asked if they were insured it sounded like they were not. No way I'm taking that chance.
On the bright side, while my planet bakes, my country slides daily into ever deeper authoritarianism and my state remains under constant threat of burning down, Infinite Berry Month continues.
4 more pounds today, for about 17 total so far. The freezer is filling up and I'm starting to give about half of each haul away now. It is my favorite thing about August by far.

Well, the AI is supposed to be a helpful assistant. If I want to kill myself, it needs to encourage me to do it to be helpful, right? Otherwise trying to prevent me in killing myself, the assistant would not be helpful to me.
It's in its system prompt. Be helpful. From that objective view, it did what it was programmed to do.

Indeed. It's sparse up there. Firefighting even 2 miles up the hill that way from the GJ river bottom involves heavy city/county fire tanker trucks hauling water grinding up a steep hill at 10mph. Can take a while.
Ambulance service, with lighter vehicles, has gotten into the 5-10 minute range for the lower 2-4 mile segment.
GJ EMS and St Marys flight for life heliport are now doing more Glade Park runs when local response all the way up there isn't available.
