@dangillmor I think they’ll stick with this approach for a while, probably until the next price increase. The strategy is to make it seem more painful to churn. They’d rather get $99 for sure than risk only getting $13 when someone wants to binge “Severance”, so leaving the yearly rate in place will probably make Apple more money right now *and* it looks like a bargain.
It appears that you can’t buy the big TV+ titles in the iTunes Store, though that could be due to my active TV+ subscription. But that, too, pushes people to keep their TV+ service rather than churn.

The magenta and white stripey blossom I posted a couple of days ago is still gorgeous and getting bigger and more spectacular.
Summer and I are going to meditate for a bit. In front of a window with a cool breeze.
I tried reading my timeline but for some reason today the anger and frustration flowing through my phone was alot. I get that the news is full of the most vile people acting out their darkest fantasies.
I also know that if I was to think about those people and their crimes constantly I would not be able to function.
So much of our day to day lives relies on my productivity that if I was to indulge my outrage instead of doing the best I can to help us survive it would feel selfish and still wouldn't advance mine or anyone's cause.
For those who can do this differently more power to you but I can't.

I must say I agree that Biden was grossly incompetent in imposing red lines on Ukraine and giving sanctuary to #russia.
Many military analysts agree that there's a chance Ukraine could have won years ago if it had not been stopped from attacking so stupidly.
History will not judge Biden well on this. Here's hoping trump decides to do what he did with javelins years ago after Obama's cowardice, and allow #Ukraine to attack as much as it wants when it is ready to go on the offensive.

I think something will happen, either they get exponentially better, or exponentially less expensive in power requirements. I have no idea how long that will take, and neither do any of the companies or vcs pushing them.

It's complicated and there's not much room to manoeuvre. I have two non-cooperating groups of cops and my protagonists all descending on my antagonist at the same time. He's trapped. His empire has been laid in ruin.
Ending 1: surrender. Rating: OMG WTF? No.
Ending 2: suicide / suicide by cop. Rating: Meh.
Ending 3: Cops argue, antagonist escapes. Rating: Oh goodie, now it's a fucking series. Kill me now.
Ending 4: escape, but thwarted by unexpected, possibly humorous circumstances. Rating: Best of a bad bunch.
Ending 5 will be brilliant though. 😂
You might well consider Alfred Hitchcocky twisty endings. He was very good at that...rather, choosing writers whose stories provided such a thing...which is why I sit through the closing credits of Hitchcock Presents because therein lies a reading list. To whet your appetite in this direction, I now point the way to Hitchcock's magazine as well as to that of Ellery Queen for inspo.
