Evolving My Nutrition Plan
For the last 40+ days I have implemented a Keto/ Carnivore nutrition plan. I have gone from 268 pounds (121.56 kilo) to 222 pounds (100.70 kilo). Though even more significant to me, now that I have become a fat burner v sugar burner, my joints feel better. I no longer have my chronic knee and shoulder pain. I constantly have more energy and find it easier to be more active, as I have the energy to be so.
Basically I eat mostly carnivore with some keto tendencies. I do intend to include more keto friendly vegetables very soon as I miss them. Because I have lost all faith in the quality of commodity sausage I have begun making my own; as sausage is a staple in my nutrition plan. I have been doing a lot of studying to get this right. I just turned 56 (not sure what the metric is for that 😉 though I am pretty sure it is 21!) and my health issues are weighing heavier (pun intended) on me.
I know how dishonest our (American) government is. Though when we find out just how badly they have lied to us about nutritional requirements. Allowing Big Food to buy the right to call their toxins good for you. It really brings it home just how far this country has gone in only caring about profit and not the citizens. We have an upside down food pyramid that convinces us to eat in a fashion that is self destructive. Promotes the use of toxic substances over healthy choices. All for the sake of profit.
