So I did some internet searches on cooking turkey necks in an Instant Pot set on pressure cooking. Good thing I did, I had way to much food and liquid in the pot. I also downloaded the user manual and read it for my education on using the product correctly.

Turkey Necks & Pig Tails

At first I was going to slow cook them, but my tummy said "to hell you are!". So I decided to pressure cook them. Having grown up, for at least part of my life, on a farm I am familiar with pressure cookers. I am also aware of how dangerous they can be if not used properly. So I did some internet searches on cooking turkey necks in an Instant Pot set on pressure cooking. Good thing I did, I had way to much food and liquid in the pot. I also downloaded the user manual and read it for my education on using the product correctly.
I bought around 6 lbs ( 2.72 kg) of turkey necks and around 2 lbs (.91 kg) of pigtails. My idea was to add additional fat via the pigtails. I also added around 4 oz (133 g) of bacon. Personally, next time I will just use the bacon. I was not impressed by the contribution of the flavor from the pigtails. They would most likely be good in greens or cabbages, but not so much with turkey necks in my opinion. My selection of turkey necks was mostly the large base of the neck cuts and about 2 lbs (.91 kg) regular necks. That worked out well. I called a friend to ask how they season their turkey necks though they were not available. So I did an internet search. I used what is the norm (apparently) salt, pepper, sage, garlic powder, dehydrate chopped onion and paprika. I also decided to add bay leaf which was a good call in my opinion. They came out delicious though I immediately regretted adding the pig tails. It did not completely ruin the dish though I feel it would have been better without them.
So, I learned how to operate my Instant pot, also ordered some add-ons so I can start making my own yogurt and steam food. I also made my first batch of Turkey Necks which was pretty much a success. My ingredient list was: 6 lbs (2.72 kg) turkey necks 2 lbs (.91 kg) pig tails 4 oz (133g) bacon 2 tbs (30 g) sage 2 tbs (30 g) garlic powder 2 tbs (30 g) chopped onion (dehydrated) 2 tsp (10 g) paprika 2 tsp (10 g) salt (pink Himalayan fine) 2 tsp (10 g) black pepper 3 leaves bay leaf 3 cups (709.77 ml) water
I adjusted the water here to account for the fact that I used to much as I was preparing to slow cook them. I should have reduced my water to around 3 cups (709.77 ml). The only negative effect this had was to take longer for my Instant Pot to come to pressure as it had more liquid to heat. I could have likely halved my preheating time if I had used half the water I did. Also note that I cooked this in two batches as it was way to much ingredient to cook in one. I cooked them for 50 minutes a batch (plus preheating time). With the Instant Pot set on pressure cook, low setting, pressure setting high.
Me: I made chicken fried rice from sctratch using a recipe from an actual chinese chef. In a real wok! Kids: Oh Wife: I kinda like it better than the stuff from our regular place. Me: My work's done here...

Being skeptical of media is healthy. Always verify sources and think critically, don’t just consume information, question it. Doing your own research means more than confirming biases; it means seeking truth. Or else do not even look at it.

The other day I heard some users complaining that AI was plagiarizing open source software 😉. I asked in what universe that ever made sense? How does someone or something plagiarize something that has been given a copyright that allows you to copy and use it as you will? Other than you must also make any derived works open source as being the only condition.

Just a technical correction, 127.0.0.1 is the IP address the port that you are using by your images is 8080. The url being http://127.0.0.1:8080 which is protocol://address:port and anything beyond that would be something on the filesystem of the server or the subject of a rewrite rule. There would also be arguments for CGI, HTTP:GET and HTTP:POST etc. the entire url has a positional association.

I have others as well /5000 etc each with it''s permission and local host in any case I run trough a server without requiring administrative privileges or conflicting with existing web servers. aka as local servers, socket servers all on IPv4 The IPv4 is important to enforce trough the WireGuard Tunnel.
You should also realize that localhost is assigned the IP of 127.0.0.1 in every Unix Like OS I have ever seen, and MS/Windows. You could type http://localhost:8080 and it would go to your llama.cpp webui server as well. Even without using DNS your system has an /etc/hosts which makes that host association to that IP address and your /etc/resolv.conf defines in what order lookup is performed.
127.0.0.1 (localhost) is a loopback device. Some people get confused because the address is used by proxies such as Tor and Proxy servers. So they think that localhost is an actual server on the internet. Though it is actually just a part of a kernel module that is used to provided these services locally on your machine via loopback.
@Unus Nemo Totally correct! And if they bring this one down I'll make another better one again over again. In my case it's the proxy server. WG And indeed some confuse with the 127.0.0.1 as Tor mostly> is normal btw but is not what I do, albeit with Socks5 and a proxied DNS maybe.
The most important rule of OPSEC is share only what is needed. Do not open ports or services (daemons in 'nix parlance) to the internet when not absolutely required. They cannot exploit something that is not available to them no matter how talented they are. Keep all ports that you do not need to connect to yourself filtered out in your firewall. Never open a port just in case.
No port has to be open to the internet for you to use them on localhost.
