What about AI? Not sure I can parse that one.
I frequently have to go back to people and say "Do not save the CSV from Excel, give me the original!" because it wrecks dates among other things. You're right about not using Excel for a database.
When asked to load a CSV into Mariadb, I have a script that generates create table and load data statements. But there are usually still adjustments. We could use a friendly Excel-like tabular data application.

That was the rule of thumb when Trump got inaugurated. It hasn't changed and even if the government shutdown persisted, wouldn't have changed even then. It's a given in all cases, and I've heard that excuse several times today. Somebody posited that re-opening government was a loss of leverage, and I still can't see how maintaining a shutdown has any sway over a party that revels in shutdowns.
Keeping the government shut down is giving the GOP all the leverage THEY need to beat you over the head with it claiming YOU are the villain...and insofar as you're aiding/abetting a GOP desired shutdown, AND whereas they're the villain for it, well, so are the Dems.
In what world does giving the GOP the shutdown they get their rocks off on "leverage"? Anyone who thinks that's what it is, is certifiably bonkers.
