Friendly Reminder
A month or so ago I made an announcement that abandoned accounts will be deleted. This is mainly due to my setting a ceiling on the number of users that can register on this Instance. The ceiling is set to try to keep the Instance usable. I can only afford so many resources.
If you need to take a sabbatical or are going to be off line for a while please let me know so that I will not delete your account. If I am not warned that you are not going to be able to use your account then I delete accounts that reach 60 days with no activity. I of course will be flexible with this for typically active users.

TOS & Rules amendment
No Vulgar Display Names
Okay, I thought this would be self evident though apparently not. As I want this Instance to be accessible to all ages and demographics with a diverse outlook on ideologies there are certain expectations that need to be met by all users. Being polite is a given and I will delete an account over someone that cannot control their behavior on this Instance. I did not really think it was necessary to make a rule that states that you cannot use a vulgar or obscene display name. I was wrong. I deleted the account, they can try again with an appropriate display name if they choose to.
I officially updated the TOS & Rules to reflect that using a vulgar display name is not allowed. I will be the judge of what is vulgar and/or obscene.

Server Issues
Certificate Expiration
Due to an issue with an update to SELinux and it's targeting profile certbot ,the tool I use to renew my site certificate, failed. As SELinux was not allowing it to write the updates for the renewal process. I have corrected the issue though it has taken some time to get the certificate renewed.
I am sorry for any inconvenience that the delay in renewal may have caused. I hope everyone enjoys their day.

But this is the end of the story--today's adventures with Rogue began when I simply tried to reach it. My browser blocked it because of some kind of certificate issue, announced that it was Untrusted, and demanded that I make an Exception--and it never ever has done that before.

If @Radio Free Trumpistan cannot see my comments because of a block please be sure to pass this on. Though I know they have multiple accounts from other Instances so I am sure they can get to this comment. Even if I was blocked on one of them.
I am not sure that the block is something new. Keep in mind this is just conjecture and I do not know what happened on your side. It is possible that you inadvertently blocked me. Though both of your accounts are showing up as mutual friends to me. So I do not think that would happen if you blocked me.
The thing that makes me wonder is that I have responded to a couple of your posts in the near past and you never replied or reacted to the comment at all. That is not like you though I assumed you were just busy and did not pay attention to a comment on a post a few days old.
Let me know if this issue continues.

Social Media is void of any purpose that you do not allot it. If you find it meaningless then it is. If you find it to be useful then it is. I would ask myself what value I have from sharing my views and ideas? Has it been productive? Was just expressing myself on a public forum in regards to all the ideas I have had pent up therapeutic?
Like you, I am a pretty much a loner. I do visit my children and grandchildren though do not get out nearly as often as society says I should. Though very few people follow me and I am sure I do not make any great impressions. I do find sharing my ideas and views to be therapeutic to me. Even if no one responds that is fine. I did not need anyone's approval as much as I just needed to say it. If that makes any sense to you.
